Rose Well Guest House
Rose Well Spa & Guest House is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast in Magaliesburg that has been around since 2006. The spa offers a range of treatments, such as facial, manicure, pedicure, steam room, full body massage, aromatherapy and hydro treatments. Apart from the Spa, there are plenty of other amenities such as an indoor heated plunge pool, outdoor swimming pool, a lapa with small gym and pool table, lounge with boardgames, and a refreshment station with fresh juices, coffee/tea and water. Rooms 1&2 are the Spa rooms are are separate from the main Guest House. They each have a single bed (with queen size bed), bathroom, corner bath in the bedroom, and a lounge with TV and tea/coffee tray. The next type of rooms available are standard rooms with a shower and bar fridge. These are the largest rooms, and 1 has a king size bed. The way to think of the rooms here, is that there are 4 different types. Type 1 with 1 bed 1 bath, Type 2 with 1 bed 1 bath and an additional single bed, Type 3 with 1 bed 1 bath, additional single bed and a fridge, and Type 4 with 1 bed 1 bath and a corner bath in the bedroom. The people show stay here vary from honeymooners, couples or singles looking for a weekend away.

Woodland Gardens
Woodland Gardens consists of 3 self catering log chalets. The chalets are built so as to be in the environment, and are quite luxurious. Set in a forested area, with a lovely rock pool, you can simply relax and recharge your batteries. They also offer various therapies on the premises, such as head & body massage, hot stone therapy, etc. The largest chalet is the Kingfisher chalet, which will sleep 4 – 6 people. Ibis chalet and Hornbill chalet each sleep 2, and Ibis has an outside bath on a private and secluded deck. All the cottages have wood burning fireplaces.

Directions to Woodland Gardens
From JHB you can travel on Western Bypass (concrete highway) and get off at 14th ave turn off onto N14 (Hendrik Potgieter) route past Hillfox, by turning right after passed under the highway. OR from the N12 take the N1 Roodepoort concrete highway, get off at Gordon road, turn left at top and then right onto Hendrik Potgieter. Continue on Hendrik Potgieter/Little Falls road until come to the intersection at Pinehaven, intersection with R28 K/dorp/Pta highway (also known as N14)
From Beyers Naude or Hans Strijdom drive both continue to the R28 /N14 Krugersdorp highway, turn left onto it and continue until it ends at the traffic light intersection, base of Krugersdorp hills, Sasol garage, called Pinehaven.
From Ontdekkers road until Krugersdorp and then follow road to Magaliesburg past the Krugersdorp Game Reserve, until come into village of Magalies.
From Pretoria get onto the Pietersburg/ Krugersdorp Highway R28/N14 and continue till it ends at traffic light intersection, base of Krugersdorp hills, Sasol garage, called Pinehaven.
From Pinehaven continue over it from Jhb side or turn Right if coming from Pretoria side, continue with this road past Cradle of Human kind signs until get to a T- junction, turn right, you will see a Zenex garage Oaktree, on left as turn, go PAST the next rd left, Ventersdorp/Tarlton, IT IS INDICATED ON THE MAP, DON’T USE IT, continue down the hill past Greensleeves until get the Maropeng / Magaliesburg sign, turn left onto this rd, newly tarred, (shows as a dirt rd still on the map) past the new Maropeng dev for about 8km.
You will reach a T junction, turn Right to Magaliesburg.
Magaliesburg village, go through up past the Spar on your left, veer left, over railway line (not marked, or guarded) onto R509 Koster rd, past the SAP, follow the Koster rd for 12km until get to signs for Western Cane and Vlakdrif STAY ON MAIN RD. 1km exactly past the Vlakdrif Engen garage, you will see forest on right, SLOW DOWN, look for yellow wall, lights on top, green gate on the RIGHT! Our sign is on the wall.
Hoot at gate, there is a little cow bell, ring that too, it is well lit at night, but we do require a sms re arrival time for staff at the gate to wait for you please! Also we have big dogs, lots of them, if a problem for you let me know will close them up, (will probably only lick you to death). Follow the road, where driveway lights are, to the right around the house to your chalet parking, or to left if in double chalet! Welcome!

Kwa Manzi Guest Farm has 9 self catering cottages on its farm. Clivia & Tulip cottages each have 1 bedroom (with queen bed), en suite bathroom, pull out double bed in lounge, kitchenette, fireplace and are around the swimming pool. These units sleep 4. Jasmine & Rose cottages each have 1 bedroom (with double bed), kitchenette, en suite bathroom, patio and braai area. These are also around the pool and sleep 2. Aloe Lodge is double story with 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, the loft room has twin beds, and there is a pull out double bed in the lounge and a kitchen. There is 1 bathroom and a patio with braai. It sleeps 6. Oak, Acacia Willow, and Pine cottages have 1 bedroom, en suite, and a pull out double in the lounge. Kitchenette and great views, it sleeps 4. Kwa Manzi is only 45 minutes from Joburg, and can sleep a total of 34 people (if booked all out).

Big Creek Guest Lodge offers self catering and B&B (only on request). it has 4 double rooms and 1 single. Each room is en suite and has an open plan kitchenette. They lead out onto verandahs, with private braai areas. Big Creek has a lovely communal swimming pool, a fully stocked bar, and a large family lapa. It is on 17 hectare’s, so you really do feel like you are out in nature. DSTV is in the TV room, and the games room has a snooker table and the main bar. Big Creek is well priced for what you are getting in terms of the rooms and the whole farm. The rooms are basic though, but clean, comfortable and well furnished.

Olive Tree Farm
Olive Tree Farm offers both self catering and bed & breakfast accommodation. They have 5 beautiful suites, all with fire place, under floor heating and DSTV. Suites 1&2 have 1 bedroom with a king size bed, en suite bathroom (bath and shower), open plan lounge/dining room, and full equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, microwave, fridge, stove etc. Suite 3 has the same set up as the previous suites, but has a second bedroom with queen size bed. Suite 4 (Honeymoon Suite) has a king size bed with views of the mountains, a bath in the bedroom, outdoor shower, and is more private than the other suites. From Johannesburg
Take the NI (Concrete Highway) to Roodepoort. Take the 14th Avenue off-ramp. Turn RIGHT at the traffic light at the bottom of the off-ramp and go under the
N1. Go down to the third traffic light and turn RIGHT onto Hendrik Potgieter road. Stay on this (winding) road until you come to an intersection with the R28/N14
(approx 15 km) On the way you will pass MACRO etc. on the right.
At the intersection with the R28/N14 is a 3-phase set of traffic lights. Go straight over this intersection and proceed in the direction of
Tarlton/Ventersdorp for approx. 12 km. You will then come to a stop-street at a T-junction.
Landmark is a Nursery and garage on the opposite side of the road Turn RIGHT at this T-junction and proceed in the direction of Hekpoort. About 300m after you have turned you will come to a turn-off to your LEFT to
Tarlton/Ventersdorp. Take this road which goes in the direction of Tarlton and on to Magaliesburg
Village. As you proceed along this road for approx 12 km ignore any turnoffs to the right
or left. Continue on this road until you come to a Four- way stop. At the four-way stop turn to RIGHT onto the R24 Rustenburg road. Follow this road for approximately 7 km until you come to a stop-street going
over a railway line at the start of the village of Magaliesburg o A landmark is a Wimpy on the left after the railway crossing o There are very often speed traps on this road so adhere to the speed limits.
Go over this level crossing and travel along this road (which is still the R24) through the Magaliesburg Village for approx 12 km.
Do not turn off the R 24 as you proceed through the Village o Approx 1 km on the R24 you will come to a three way Stop. Go straight
over this stop-street in the direction of Rustenburg. Do not turn off the tarred R24 as you proceed. Further along you will come to Lover’s Rock and further on a road to the
right called Seekoeihoek Rd. Carry on past these landmarks
You will then come to a road to the RIGHT which is the R560 HEKPOORT. Turn RIGHT at this road into the R560. Travel along this road for about 2.3 km • As you proceed along this road (R560) you will come to a sign “Honey-Hill
Farm’ on the RIGHT Count four telephone poles from this sign and you will come to the entrance of

Stone Hill
Stone Hill is self catering accommodation in Magaliesburg, that has 7 private cottages and is Pet Friendly. It is just 1 hour from Johannesburg, making it ideal for a quick weekend getaway. It is on a private bushveld farm and has a communal swimming pool, as well as a fenced off area with a 5km path where you can unleash your furry friends and let them enjoy the area along with you. There are benches along the route so remember to bring a picnic as well as water for your dogs. The cottages all have an open plan lounge (with cane furniture and cushions), a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery) and a full bathroom. There is a fireplace in the lounge and a braai area outside. Each cottage is fenced off from the next – which is especially useful for pet owners. Cabbage Tree cottage has 1 bedroom with a king or 2 single beds, and 1 bathroom. Wild Olive Tree cottage has 1 bedroom (with a king or 2 single beds), a sleeper couch, and 1 bathroom. Anguna Holiday Flats is a holiday apartment complex, right on the beach in Margate. It has 6 apartments, each self catering, and all facing the sea. The complex lawns lead directly onto Lucien Beach (Blue Flag). The apartments are fully furnished and the kitchen has a microwave, fridge and dishwasher – who wants to do dishes while on vacation? There is also a TV with DSTV dish, but you will need to bring your own decoder and card. Each apartment has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two bedrooms have a double bed and 1 has two single beds. The flat can comfortably sleep 6 people. The apartments are excellently located right at the beach, but there are plenty of other nearby activities to keep you busy, such as tennis, fishing, squash, bowls and horse riding. It is also close to shops, the cinema and restaurants. There is only one parking bay available. Each additional parking bay required will be charged at R20 per day.

Felchow Inn is a small but comfortable Bed & Breakfast in Margate. It has 3 bedrooms, one of which is en suite. There is an excellent view of the sea and the beach is about a 25minute walk. Flechow Inn is centrally located, so you are close to shops and cafes, the cinema and golf courses. Each room has a coffee/tea tray, ceiling fan, mini bar fridge, and a TV. The dining room is where you can relax as well as enjoy the full English or Continental breakfast. The living room has comfy couches, a TV and a hifi. Beachcomber Bay
Beachcomber Bay is a luxury and very large Bed and Breakfast (B&B) on the border of Margate and Ramsgate. It has 6 bedrooms in total, all being en suite) Each room has a mini bar, tea/coffee facilities, fan and a TV (with DSTV facility – you can bring your own or hire from us). Beachcomber Bay is situated on top of a hill, with amazing sea views (180 degree uninterrupted views), and also has private access to the beach. There is a sauna, a spa, and a large pool with sun deck and loungers. Room 1 has a king size bed, room 2 and 3 have a double, room 4 has a king size bed and a very special big bath, room 5 has a king size bed and a double sleeper coach, and room 6 is the Penthouse with a king size bed, sleeper coach, and a private solarium. Regardless of which room you stay in you will have access to the fully licensed bar, the sauna, the jacuzzi, the pool, the various sun decks, and the braai patio. There is of course secure off-street parking. This is a very special B&B, not only by its sheer size, but also by its excellent location and wonderful facilities. Guesthouse rates include a full breakfast offering choices among Traditional, Health, Continental and English.

Follow the N2 (Toll Road) south from Durban for approximately 140 kms.
Take exit 29, at the stop street turn left into Alford Road.
At the next stop street turn left into National Road
Drive on past Ramsgate Boulevard Shopping Centre (SPAR and Total Garage)
Turn right into Marine Drive, (sign to Ramsgate North)
Continue past La Capannina Italian Restaurant, Mud Hut Gallery, Petloff Service Station.
Immediately after Tinkers Den turn right into the driveway of Beachcomber Bay at 75 Marine Drive, Ramsgate

13 Indigo Bay
13 Indigo Bay is in a fairly new apartment block, and is a self catering apartment. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom is en suite). There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, cutlery&crockery, toaster, kettle, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. It really does have all the conveniences you would have at home. It is clean and modern, with a breakfast counter and stools. The dining room has an 8 seater table and there is a leather lounge suite. A massive 80cm TV is included, with a DVD player and full DSTV. The lounge also has aircon. You will be impressed with how modern and upmarket the finishes and furnishing is in 13 Indigo Bay. The main bedroom is en suite (with shower, bath and toilet), with a king size bed, dresser, built in cupboards, aircon and 74cm TV with DVD and DSTV. Room 2 has a queen size bed and rooms 3 and 4 each have 2 single beds. The second bathroom also has a bath, shower and toilet. The dining room and lounge lead out to the balcony, with sun loungers and a braai, and seating for 8. There are fantastic sea views from the balcony. Downstairs there is also a shared pool for the complex, as well as undercover parking for 2 cars.

Directions to 13 Indigo Bay
Take the N2 South from Durban and follow the new toll road to Margate. Follow Marine Drive, and pass through Manaba. You will come down a short hill, keep to the left. Then turn sharply left at the bottom of the hill. This is St Andrews Road, almost directly opposite from the new Audi Dealership. You will then see the Indigo development on the corner of Forest Road and St Andrews.
