The Treehouse
The Treehouse is a lovely, private self catering home in Bakoven. It is unpretentious, but beautifully furnished, and has all the mod cons you would need. There is only 1 bedroom (with a king size bed), and 1 bathroom with bath and shower. However there is also an outdoor shower that is completely private – and has magnificent views of the mountain. Also outside, you will find the Jacuzzi, with equally excellent views. The Treehouse is a little further up the mountain that our other Bakoven accommodation, and is nestled amongst the natural fynbos. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a small dining room table. There is also a lovely fireplace in the lounge, and a TV (with DSTV and DVD). This really is a surprising gem to find in Bakoven, as most self catering homes have multiple bedrooms and thus charge more. This is a great spot for the couple who want to get away just for a weekend or for a little longer if they can.

The house can also be rented out for the entire month in winter for only R8000 (winter is 1 May – 30 September)

Nearby Activities
Even though the Treehouse self catering house is situated a little further up the mountain that the other self catering bakoven accommodation, it is still a short walk to Bakoven beach. You can also get to Camps Bay beach quite easily, and drive to many of the popular tourist spots in the city within 5-10 minutes.
