Houghton Hideaway
Houghton Hideaway is a beautiful 5 bedroom house in Bakoven. It’s excellent location means you are only 5 minutes walk from the “private” bakoven beach, as well as very close to Camps Bay. The house is double story and also has its own private garden and pool. You enter the courtyard and walk around the fishpond. Look around and you are literally surrounded by views of the mountain. All the bedrooms are then front facing (sea facing). Three of the bedrooms are in the upper level. Bedroom 1: separate entrance, king size bed, kitchenette & bar fridge, sitting area, en suite, opens to upstairs balcony. Bedroom 2 & 3: Queen size bed, en suite (which also has sea views), opens to balcony. Bedroom 4: Separate entrance, private deck, king size bed, sitting area, en suite. Bedroom 5: Twin beds, sea views, separate bathroom.
There is also a lounge area upstairs, with a reading area and a TV with DSTV. Another lounge area is downstairs, along with the kitchen which is fully equipped. There is parking for 2 cars in the garages, and three more off-street. In total Houghton Hideaway sleeps 10 people, comfortably.

Being in Bakoven, you are really close to Camps Bay promenade, with its world famous beach, shops and cafes. The house is also only 5 minutes walk to Bakoven beach – which is a well kept secret meaning that there are never too many people. It is also protected from the wind by the rocks, making it very peaceful. The Waterfront is only a short drive away.
