South America is of course the large continent south of its more affluent neighbour, North America (USA). It has become a bit of a tourist destination over the past few decades, mainly due to being relatively affordable, having thriving, colourful cultures that are as diverse as the geography. Some of the most visited places in South America are of course Rio de Janiero, Michu Pichu, Buenos Aires, , the Galapgos islands, the Amazon Rainforest and Sao Paulo.

Each is quite different from the next but still has that 'Salsa' feeling about it that most South Americans seem born with. They also have heavy roots in music such as the samba and the tango. The most spoken languages in South America are Portugese and Spanish.
