Las Vegas Flights
Located
in the very middle of the Mojave Desert, at the southern tip of
the state of Nevada, is an oasis of lights, excess and entertainment.
Here all the wonders of the world can be seen…in miniature
of course. The Las Vegas strip features all the world’s major
attractions, from the Statue of Liberty to the great Egyptian Sphinx,
without the cultural quietness. The reasons for visiting this city are
all based on high-energy entertainment. The city boasts more than 150
000 hotel rooms, and is constantly trying to improve on its title of
largest hotel in the world. According to the Las Vegas Chamber of
Commerce, the city is North America’s fastest growing city
with approximately 2 acres of land being developed every 24 hours.
There are also an estimated 50 000 people choosing to make Las Vegas
their home every year. Entertainment fuels the city’s
economy. There is 24-hour access to casinos, hotel lounges, topless
revue bars and live entertainment. Gambling is the number 1 attraction
and lifestyles in Las Vegas seem almost surreal. People leave normal
hours, normal mealtimes and normal activities behind when they come to
sin city and revel for a while in a life that seems to come out of a
movie.
Places
to Visit in Las Vegas
A trip to Las Vegas would be incomplete without visiting the
world-renowned Strip. All along the Strip you’ll be met with
live shows, a constant hub of activity and amazing sights. The Bellagio
Fountains in front of the Bellagio Hotel are a great attraction for
visitors of all ages. The fountain display is accompanied by a sound
and light show that deserves a visit. The Bellagio also offers a
Gallery of Fine Art for any art enthusiasts. For a bit of fun, the
Eiffel Tower Replica offers a restaurant in the tower as well as a
wonderful view of Vegas. You can also take a virtual tour at the base
of the Paris Las Vegas. Many consider gambling to be the number one
attraction of Las Vegas. If you feel that way but could do with a
helping hand on the casino floor, the Las Vegas Hilton offers regular
gaming classes. The classes last about half an hour each and are
generally free of charge. There are a whole host of other attractions
in the city, ranging from skydiving to space flights, live shows,
over-the-top exhibitions, and of course casinos and restaurants.
