Flights to America
The American Dream – you’d
be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t heard of the concept.
Considered by many as one of the most advanced 1st world countries, the
USA comprises a staggering 50 states – each of which offers its
own unique attractions and appeal. The United States of America is
flanked by 2 oceans and, with busses, trains, taxis and internal
flights, travelling around the country is very easy. America also has a
world-renowned medical care system. The USA is home to the rich and
famous, with Hollywood stars living and filming all through the
country. The home of Mickey Mouse also see’s big yellow taxis,
bigger-than-life burgers and bagels, neon-lights skylines and cities
that never seem to sleep. English is spoken throughout, and Spanish
also features fairly highly.
Places to Visit in America
America is full of must-see attractions.
Times Square in New York City would be a great start. Broadway offers
theatre attractions all year round, and there are cinemas, restaurants
and bright signs lighting up the whole area. Moving through to Las
Vegas will bring you to the Las Vegas strip in Nevada. The strip is an
absolute gamblers paradise, and there are also numerous other
entertainment and shopping venues to keep you busy. For those who want
a bit of a historical outing, a visit to the National Wall and Memorial
Parks in Washington D.C. is great. This area houses some of the most
iconic landmarks, including the Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson
Memorials, as well as the Korean and Vietnam War Veterans Memorials.
Families travelling through Florida should pay a visit to Disney
World’s Magic Kingdom – here adults and children alike can
have good, wholesome fun. In a similar vein, Universal Studios in
Orlando offers good, wholesome family fun. Sea-World is also nearby
when in Orlando and also warrants a visit. Nature-lovers would enjoy a
trip through to Niagara Falls in New York. The Falls, which hug the
U.S./Canadian border, truly are spectacular sight to see. The
most famous natural attraction in the USA, however, has to be the Grand
Canyon in Arizona. The Canyon was created by extensive erosion from the
Colorado River and features a glass walkway to allow tourists to
experience the true magnificence of the canyon. The USA has too many
“must-see attractions” to mention, but anything from
museums to gambling to theatre to natural attractions and more can be
found in this bountiful country.
