Spain Info
Spain
is in Western Europe and lies along the Med., and at one stage was the most powerful country in Europe. Spain, like the rest of Europe uses the Euro, which makes travelling around much easier. Since Spain is located in such a great position in relation to europe there have been many conflicts fought over it.
Spain Highlights
Spain is a large country (the second largest in western europe) and so a trip around it will take some time. Here are our highlights.
You simply must go to Barcelona. The city is like a living art exhibition, with the streets and buildings all seemingly inspired by Gaudi. In fact while in barcelona you should visit Park Guel as well as Gaudi's apartment for some insight into the man. Also there you will find the worlds most visited construction site, the Familia which is a huge church that has been, and still is, under contruction for over 100 years.
Other famous Cities worth a look are Valencia, Granada and Seville.
