London Highlights
London is a fantastic city, and one of the most visited in the world. Steeped in history while at the same time ultra modern, it is possible to walk through a road with skyscrapers around you and just around the next corner there is a hundred year old building.
A few highlights that you simply have to see while you are in London include the London Eye - which is like a massive merry-go-round right next to the Thames. Tower Bridge (which is often mistaken for London Bridge. In fact, London Bridge is one of the more plain looking bridges in London (just up the river from Tower bridge).
Picadilly Circus, which is of course one of the more famous parts of London is almost at the centre of the town and is a massive square with larger screens. Close by is Trafalgar Square as well as Covent Garden. Both are definitely worth a visit if you have the time.
You might come in via Heathrow, gatwick, luton or stanstead airport.
