Places to Visit in Perth
For a relaxing outdoor experience, Kings
Park and Botanic Garden is a great option. The huge expanse of bush
land combined with tranquil parks and gardens is visited by nearly 6
million people every year. The Aquarium of Western Australia is another
‘natural’ attraction, with a variety of sea life on offer
to visitors, and Nambung National Park will give you a taste of most
land creatures. Whiteman Park is a great venue for kids. The
2400-hectare park is filled with recreational activities as well as
shops, museums and cafes. And if the kids aren’t happy there, a
trip to Perth Zoo will present you with over 230 different animal
species. Perth also has a number of pristine beaches that warrant a
visit, and a trip to any of the numerous museums throughout the city
will give you a taste of Perth’s heritage.
