Brisbane is Queensland’s capital city and is considered by many to be among the best places in the world to live. The city is relatively compact in comparison to Australia’s other main city centers, Sydney and Melbourne, with the majority of Brisbane’s main attractions falling within a 2KM radius of the CBD. While the city is home to the third largest populous in Australia, current growth estimates that it will soon overtake Melbourne to become number 2. The city has great year-round weather and the residents take full advantage of their subtropical climate. There are countless green areas in and around the city to encourage outdoor activities, and alfresco dining and outdoor cinemas are regular features.
