Cheap Turkey Flights

Turkey is a melting pot of eastern and western culture. Straddling both European and Asian continents, Turkey is a country full of aspirations, ancient traditions and volatility. Turks are relatively new inhabitants of the area, having lived there only since medieval times. Before them the country belonged to a host of nations, including Romans, Persians, Lycians, Phrygians and Hittite. Because of this rich and varied past, the country is littered with historical artifacts. Historical sites and ancient artifacts abound, and well preserved Greco-Roman cities, cave churches, mosques and palaces can be found throughout the land. But don’t let all the history fool you. Turkey may be full of heritage and time-honoured traditions, but it is still modern and has adopted many advanced European ways.
