Tokyo Flights
Tokyo
is one of the major cities in Japan,
and is one of the most expensive cities to live (voted number 1 in
2009). It is estimated that there are roughly 13 million people living
in Tokyo. It is also one of the economic powerhouse cities in the
world, along with New York and London. Tokyo consists of the mainland
portion, and two island chains, some of the islands extend 1850km from
central Tokyo City. It is a fast and busy city, which may live up to
the New York saying of "the city that never sleeps" more than the Big
Apple. Although Tokyo is an ancient city, the buildings and
architecture are quite modern, owing to the financial importance of the
city and the fact that the city has experienced massive damage in the
past and had to be rebuilt. These were because of an earthquack, and
then as a result of World War II.
