Malawi’s abundant wildlife and diverse
landscapes make this relatively unspoiled country an attractive getaway

recommended, it’s easy to see why visitors find it so attractive.
There are also a number of forest reserves and waterfalls in the
country, and Malawi’s most famous feature, Lake Malawi. The lake
stretches from the very northern tip of the country to Mangochi in the
south and is home to a variety of birdlife and some of the
world’s rarest fish species. The official languages spoken in
Malawi are English and Chichewa.
Places to Visit in Malawi
The beaches around Lake Malawi are the
perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Tourists flock to these
“land-locked” beaches on a regular basis. Lake Malawi
also offers world-class freshwater diving destinations, and other
water-based activities on offer include kayaking and sailing. Liwonde
National Park is Malawi’s most traditional game park. This
relatively small park is breath-takingly beautiful and offers a host of
wildlife and bird life. Vwaza Marsh is another of Malawi’s parks
that is relatively unknown to most people but definitely warrants a
visit.
