spots. Early Greeks, Romans and other cultures all visited the land to

known for it’s spectacular pyramids and the world’s largest
river, the Nile, Egypt is both beautiful and full of archaeological to

Places to Visit
Anyone will tell you that a visit to Egypt
must include an outing to the Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx. The
Pyramids are Egypt’s most famous monuments and are also the only
one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world still standing. Every
night in Giza you can watch a sound and light show that adds to the
mystery of these great wonders. If it’s history that you’re
after, then a visit to the Egyptian Antiquities Museum in Cairo is a
must. The museum is most famous for it’s treasures from
Tutankhamun’s tomb, including the king’s famous golden
mask. Karnak Temple is another must-see destination in Egypt. The
temple consists of 3 main temples with several smaller enclosed
temples. Here you will see examples of some of the finest ancient
Egyptian design and architecture. The Valley of the Kings in the Theban
Hills is a limestone valley that can be visited if you wish to view the
location of many mummified bodies. The tombs have unfortunately been
stripped of many of their contents, but they are still a spectacular
sight to behold.
