The MSC Sinfonia, built in 2002, is the largest in the MSC fleet and sets a new standard in South African cruising for the 1500 plus guests. It is also the most modern liner to operate out of a South African port with top quality cabins, entertainment and facilities.

The MSC Sinfonia provides 777 cabins serviced by approximately 700 people. The cabins range between suites with a private balcony, outside cabins, family cabins without a balcony and inside cabins including four cabins for people with disabilities.  The nine passenger decks are serviced by 9 lifts making for easy access between decks.

All Accommodation and meals are included on board the MSC Sinfonia as well as certain drinks at the buffet restaurants. Transfers to and from the harbour and all drinks at dinner times are excluded.

The MSC Sinfonia offers a perfect family cruise with a daily schedule of activities for children ages 4 – 12 with highly trained hostesses to keep them safe and entertained.
A daily schedule of activities is also planned for adults ensuring there is an activity to suit everyone throughout the cruise.

Facilities on board the MSC Sinfonia include two swimming pools where guests can soak up the sun and two Jacuzzis. It also includes a sports centre and jogging track for the more active, a business and conference centre, an internet café, an exchange office and medical centre for any medical emergencies. For the younger ones there is mini golf, a video games room, and the Pinocchio Mini Club with a children's playroom, teenagers club and disco ensuring everyone’s needs are catered for.

All meals are included on board the MSC Sinfonia and the restaurants include the Il Galeone which serves a sit down breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Il Covo which is open for dinner only. The Café Del Mar offers breakfast and lunch outside on the deck where guests can enjoy their meal in the fresh sea air. There are two outside bars including the Capri Bar and the Beer Bar.

Evening entertainment includes a selection of bars including Shelagh's House Irish Pub, Cafe Le Baroque, and the Ambassador Lounge. The Buddha Piano bar provides entertainment till late and the Manhattan bar is open for cocktails, dancing and bands.
The Teatro San Carlo provides spectacular shows for guests to enjoy.

The MSC Sinfonia offers a spa, and beauty salon where guests can be pampered, a sport centre for the more energetic and shuffleboard, mini golf and a golf simulator for young or old.
