Cape Town Guide Capetown Flights

Cape Town is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. nestled along the west coast of South Africa, it truly is heaven on earth. This is a place you will never forget visiting.

Cape Town Quick Guide
Cape Town can be divided into the city bowl (which is the main city centre beneath the table mountain, signal hill and Devils Peak.) The seaside, which includes Camps Bay and Clifton; and the Hout bay and Muizenberg side. There are good freeways connecting the various areas and the drive is always scenic. The City Bowl includes such notably gems like the V&A Waterfront, the Castle, Greenpoing fleamarket and the infamous Long and Loop Street. Cape Town has such varied beaches that your entire trip could be spent exploring them. From the long open stretches in Blouberg to the crowded and rocky tanning spots of Camps Bay, there are beaches here for both those of you who enjoy happening places to show off that summer body or that quiet spot for reflection.

Tips/Hints
Always pack your sun cream AND umbrella. Cape Town is renowned for its indecisive weather and often experiences four seasons in one day. Try and avoid Main Road for as long as possible. This is a crazy road, with taxi's, cyclists, pedestrians, and hawkers vying for position, so enter at your own risk. Although if you did want to experience the genuine Cape Town this is the best way to do it.

Must Do's

Climb Table Mountain, the walk can be as quick as 45min. Chill out on Camps Bay watching the schmoozers. Have Sundowners on Signal Hill, marvelling at the city lights. Wander around the V&A Waterfront.

I have been in cpt for 6 yrs now...ever since I was a student. I just can't see a reason to leave it. I wake up in the morning and have a walk on the beach, drive to work looking at the mountain, and spend the evening watching the sun set at La Med.
