British Airways Strike goes ahead
British Airways are really under the hammer here. On the back of posting their worst period in their history (with a loss of 208 million pounds in the first half of this year), they have had to make some major changes. These include cutting back from 15 to 14 cabin crew members on long haul flights, freezing pay for the next 2 years, and having to let 12 00 staff go.
As a result of this, 14 000 staff members voted to strike, and it looks like it is going ahead this festive season.
BA have said that all passengers travelling during this period will be able to change their booking for no additional fee.
